Hotel Palacio De Asturias, Oviedo

I arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled check-in time, and unfortunately, the room I received was not what I had expected. It felt more like a bustling cafe rather than a tranquil hotel room. On the bright side, the staff were helpful without being overbearing, striking a nice balance that suited my preference. They were extremely friendly and looked after us very well. However, there was a downside as some staff members lacked people skills and did not show any interest in the guests. The location was only a ten-minute walk outside the city, providing a wonderful view, but it seemed to be used as an outdoor smoking area, which was off-putting. The hotel had all the necessary amenities if you preferred not to venture out. As for the dining experience, it was not just poor; it was actually bad. The continental breakfast consisted only of coffee, orange juice, croissant, or toast, all of poor quality. Despite these shortcomings, I must say that the hotel's facilities were quite satisfactory.
